New Low Cost R to D for automotive applications
The RD-19240 is a new low cost programmable 10,12 or 14 bit resolution ASIC tracking resolver-to-digital converter that is ideal for automotive applications. Typically this resolver-to-digital converter will be used in precision position measurement applications where low cost but ultra high reliability are required such as in “Drive by Wiring” car steering applications. This resolver-to-digital converter offers off-the-shelf solutions for today's high demand motion feedback applications. The resolver-to-digital converter features programmable 10, 12 and 14 bit resolution with accuracies to 8 arc minutes. The resolver-to-digital converter may be configured for operation with a single +5VDC power supply. Programmable bandwidth for dual applications with a single resolver-to-digital converter and a velocity output used to replace tachometers may be scaled to the applications needs. The velocity scale factor / tracking rate is programmed with a single resistor. The optional internal synthesized reference feature eliminates errors due to quadrature voltage and ensures operation with a rotor-to-stator phase shift of up to 45 degrees. Inputs may be configured for resolver, synchro, LVDT / RVDT and DC signals. |

RP-26000 Solid State Power Controllers (SSPC)
he STAR series, Solid-State Advanced Remote Power Controllers offer reliable I2T trip protection, programmable current, instant trip, and load detection status settings, while providing isolated control circuitry. As replacements for circuit breakers, the STAR series of SSPC’s are typically used in military applications for the management and control of power. The STAR series of SSPC’s are available in the Multi-Channel Power Controller Board (MCPCB) This a DSP-based remote power controller that is intended for Electrical Load Management Centers(ELMC's) where there are high RPC channel counts. The Multi-Channel concept utilizes Digital Signal Processor (DSP) capability to implement highly integrated multiple Remote Programmable Power Controllers (RPC's). The DSP provides flexibility to insure maximum capability and safety. The MCPCB re-enables the RPC's to their previous state after loss of power. The primary function of the Multi-Channel SSPC/RPCBoard is to utilize on-board RPC and Solid State Power Controllers (SSPC) to provide remote control of +28V power to sub-systems. The secondary function of the Multi-Channel SSPC/RPC Board is to provide operational status of the RPC’s and SSPC’s to the system controller.
