Allied Data Systems Pty Limited announces that we have been advised by Data Device Corporation that due to the world wide discontinuation of the plastic package, the RDC 19222 has to be discontinued. The RDC 19222 converters are widely used in military and industrial projects from sonar systems through to motor controllers and robotics. DDC has announced that a last life time buy is available for these products through to the end of September 2005 for delivery in 2006. As the 44 pin PLCC package is to be discontinued by the packaging manufacturers there is no direct pin for pin replacement available, however DDC have announced that the die will be repackaged into a 44 pin flat pack that will be available in the 1 st quarter of 2006.
