Electrical/Electronic Engineer - available now

Position Summary:

Allied Data Systems Pty Limited is a small company where each person employed is expected to be able to perform in all areas including their specific area of responsibility.

We are looking for a young electrical engineer to be involved in a project to design a simulator for use in the on board training systems for the Royal Australian Navy. Our preference is for a recent graduate who is willing to learn and gain experience in the documentation and design of modern electronic systems.

Your specific area of responsibility is as an electrical engineer employed on various projects for the development, manufacture and test of equipment for the FFG upgrade Program as well as other projects as they come available.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake in association with other employees or contractors the documentation, design, manufacture and test of the GMLS Simulator.

Duties will include but not be limited to the:

Simulation, schematic design, PCB design, documentation, specification, purchasing, manufacture, test design, and test of the systems plus any other systems as may be included from time to time.

Formal Qualifications required:

You must have or be studying to obtain an Electrical Engineering Degree awarded and obtained through study at a recognised Australian or International University and that would enable you to be accepted as an engineer by the Institute of Engineers,

Other Requirements :

As the employment will be on equipment for use in the RAN you MUST be an Australian Citizen and you may NOT hold dual citizenship.

You must also have very good written and spoken english as there is a significant documentation requirement in this position.
